Mission of the Position:

The Program Manager, Curriculum Development will report to the Director of Academic Research & Development.

The mission of the role is to oversee the curriculum design and implementation of instructional materials for the Pioneer Research program as well as the Global Problem Solving Institute (GPSI).

The Program Manager, Curriculum Design accomplishes this through hands-on implementation and proactive coordination and assistance of other functional departments on which the program relies.

The Program Manager, Curriculum Design also acts as a communications hub, keeping function heads and leadership aware of the program performance, upcoming collaborative needs, and potential concerns and mitigation strategies.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred
  • A minimum of five years of curriculum development, instructional design, and/or teaching experience at the secondary and/or university level is required
  • Demonstrated understanding of best practices in curriculum and instruction, instructional design, and online learning
  • Experience supervising instructors, including, but not limited to, reviewing and providing feedback on their curriculum and instruction.
  • Experience working with academically gifted and talented students is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with online or hybrid course development and delivery.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, as well as with instructional technology tools, including learningmanagement systems, Webconferencing platforms, and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear, informative, and professional communication with a range of stakeholders, including students, parents, secondary educators, university faculty, and colleagues
