    Description

    Summary:

    The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing tasks and projects according to strict deadlines. This includes verifying resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and clients in order to deliver software and related analysis projects according to plan. This employee will have a detailed understanding of company product offerings and be able to communicate client requirements effectively to the Analyst and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate has a balanced skillset that allows them to build and maintain strong client relationships while demonstrating the technical expertise necessary to install and discuss configurations of software applications.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of each project
    • Gather client goals, requirements, and data elements in order to effectively communicate software application configuration specifications to Deccan's internal technical team
    • Understand Fire/EMS operations to the extent necessary to effectively guide the customization of Deccan's software tools for specific clients
    • Manage a caseload of clients and maintain ownership of all their related projects
    • Prepare and conduct internet Webinar presentations and training sessions
    • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
    • Effectively set, manage, and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
    • Plan and schedule project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools
    • Keep Senior Management fully informed with periodic status reports
    • Develop expertise on Deccan application functionality and troubleshooting steps
    • Be the last line of application QA prior to client delivery
    • Travel as needed to client sites to support application roll-out and usage (<25%).

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of related experience
    • Positive, can-do attitude
    • Passion for public safety and service to community
    • Experience with giving professional presentations
    • Experience working with and maintaining multiple client accounts
    • Quick learner with ability to proactively seek out answers and solutions
    • Aptitude for recognizing details while keeping the big picture in mind
    • Ability to think critically and analytically
    • Polished, professional written and verbal communication skills
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to think clearly under pressure and follow-through to ensure effective resolution.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including excellence in oral and written communication.
    • Ability to work in a high-volume environment while maintaining solid productivity and quality of work.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and provide excellent customer service.

    Physical Requirements:
