    Description

    The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered with a leading independent power producer focused on developing, building, owning, and operating community-scale energy storage projects in the New York area. With extensive PE backing and a 350+ MW pipeline, its an exciting time to join this world-class team.

    The business is seeking a Director of Project Finance to join their team to support their growth plans. As the Director of Project Finance, you will execute and oversee capital transactions including tax equity, M&A, and equity and project level debt raises.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as lead on debt and equity raise transactions. Responsibilities include due diligence, structuring, and negotiations.
    • Work collaboratively with the development team to provide guidance and support related to financing.
    • Oversee all due diligence, financial modeling, and tax equity/project equity financing.
    • Interface with banks, investors, and other capital providers/3rd parties.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • 7-12 years' experience in finance in project finance (renewables experience highly preferred).
    • Tax equity transaction experience required.
    • Strong knowledge of project finance, financial modeling, and valuation techniques.
    • Experience leading and/or developing a deal team.
    • Proficiency in creating and managing financial models specific to renewable energy projects.
    • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment and act as a self-starter.
