    Job Title: Project Finance Manager

    Location: Houston or New York

    Job Description: As a Project Finance Manager, you will collaborate closely with their development team, analyze project expenditures, and ensure that financial objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle. Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Collaborating with the development team to analyze and track project spend, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial objectives.
    • Playing a key role in closed deals and transactions, providing financial expertise and insights to support decision-making.
    • Demonstrating proficiency in the full project lifecycle, from inception to completion, and effectively managing financial risks associated with each stage.
    • Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and financial analysis to evaluate project viability and identify potential challenges.
    • Ensuring project financials remain within scope by implementing robust monitoring and control mechanisms.
    • Possessing a minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance or mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on renewable energy power projects.
    • Building strong relationships with sponsors, developers, and lenders within the renewable energy industry.
    • Demonstrating industry-specific knowledge and expertise in renewable energy project financing.
    • Taking ownership of "policing development" by closely monitoring project expenditures and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
    • Developing and maintaining complex financial models to support project evaluation and decision-making processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance or mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on renewable energy power projects.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing project finances and delivering results within budgetary constraints.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and financial analysis.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with experience in creating complex financial models.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on mentorship and team development.
