    Description

    As a Project Finance Associate within the renewable energy division, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development, financing, and execution of renewable energy projects. Working closely with the finance and project development teams, you will contribute to structuring and securing financing for the portfolio of renewable energy initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to engage with various stakeholders including investors, financial institutions, and project partners to ensure the successful implementation of projects.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis to assess the feasibility and viability of renewable energy projects.
    2. Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential projects, including market analysis, regulatory review, and assessment of technical feasibility.
    3. Financing Structure: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to structure financing solutions tailored to the specific requirements of renewable energy projects.
    4. Investment Proposals: Prepare investment proposals, presentations, and financial documentation for internal decision-making processes and external stakeholders.
    5. Negotiation and Deal Execution: Assist in negotiating financing terms and agreements with investors, lenders, and other relevant parties. Coordinate the execution of financing transactions.
    6. Financial Reporting: Support ongoing financial reporting and monitoring requirements for renewable energy projects, including budget tracking, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
    7. Industry Research: Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector to inform investment decisions and strategy.
    8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with colleagues in project development, legal, engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in project finance, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields. Experience in renewable energy finance is a plus.
    • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel.
    • Understanding of project finance structures, debt financing instruments, and equity investment principles.
    • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and interface with external stakeholders.
    • Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
