    The Team

    The Foundation Strategy Office (FSO) is the primary function supporting the creation and evolution of our program-level strategies as well as exploring new paths to impact that align with our mission. This includes supporting the CEO, CFO, and Chief Strategy Officer in key accountabilities like strategy development, strategy revision, strategy performance measurement, portfolio management, and special initiatives to accelerate the impact of the foundation.

    Your Role

    TheSenior Program Assistant (SPA)provides wide and varied administrative and organizational support for the FSO. The FSO SPA willsupport no less than one Director and one Deputy Director in a fast-paced and changing environment, and will focus on attention to detail, responsiveness, proactiveness, and accuracy.

    This position reports to the Executive Assistant.

    What You'll Do

    • Proactively manage a high volume of appointments/meetings and complex calendars, including organizing meetings over several different time zones (international and domestic).
    • Provide thought partnership to Director in both time and calendar management based on a deep understanding of Director and FSO priorities.
    • Manage complex domestic and international travel arrangements and when required, work with internal partners to secure visas.Coordinate travel arrangements for participants of foundation-sponsored meetings if needed.
    • Manage monthly expense reconciliation on behalf of Director.
    • Execute events, key leadership meetings, retreats, convenings, and presentations which may include coordinating arrangements for multiple participants, managing participant communication, handling logistics, and preparing and disseminating materials.
    • Effectively manage relationships and communicate diplomatically. Support and drive team building and culture.
    • Handle confidential information with discretion, diplomacy, and maturity.
    • Build effective working relationships with keypartnersinternal and external,with apeople-focusedapproach.
    • With the FSO OpsUnit, assist in managing team space planning, FSO rhythm of business meetings, team events, and other operations workstreams as assigned.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Your Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent experience
    • Experience supporting executive-level principals
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts and adjust to a wide variety of working styles
    • Proficient with MS Office Suite
    • Knowledge of foundation priorities and how they align with the goals of the FSO


    *Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.

    The salary range for this role is $35.01-$49.00/hourly USD. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission, and new hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the minimum and the midpoint of the range. Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.
