    GET TO KNOW THE ROLE
    The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to multiple managers and assigned directors within the Casino. This individual will interface with all internal departments as well as guests and vendors.

    This role requires exceptional organizational acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to set priorities, use good judgment, and follow through with all projects and tasks assigned.

    The Administrative Assistant is a strong team player who demonstrates poise in challenging situations and maintains a professional demeanor.


    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Exemplify MCR's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
    • Practice, support, and promote the vision, mission statements, and core values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).
    • Answer incoming calls and general inquiries; escalating them when necessary to the appropriate personnel.
    • Support outgoing communication from the divisional office as required.
    • Assist with preparing materials for large divisional meetings, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
    • Coordinate meeting spaces as directed by the divisional sponsor, ensuring availability and necessary resources.
    • Work independently to manage and prioritize tasks, providing clear and timely updates to stakeholders regarding progress.
    • Manage office equipment and supplies, ensuring proper par levels are maintained.
    • Assisting management and staff with various administrative tasks including large scale laminating, binding, scanning, printing and label projects.
    • Act as the point of contact for internal and external mail delivery across the Casino. This will include FEDEX requests, large scale mail outs, and hand delivering mail across the Casino multiple times a day.
    • Assist all staff with booking meeting rooms and providing them with accurate directions when searching for various individuals and departments across the changing Casino environment.
    • Collaborating with the Administration Operations management, other executive assistants and department leaders to plan and deliver initiatives and in-house activities including team member morale events, holiday set up in break rooms and other adhoc events.
    • Maintaining and restocking kitchen supplies in various team kitchens. This will include accurately tracking current and incoming supplies, completing appropriate forms and tracking reports to restock supplies.
    • Assist with the restocking of office supply depot area and support the distribution of these supplies to various departments.
    • Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and reports issues to appropriate personnel.
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

    • Three (3) years of experience in an administrative position required.
    • Associate degree in business administration, office management, or a related field is a plus.
    • Experience in the field of the respective supported department is a plus.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management tools).

    HOW YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL

    • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in current Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to: Word; Excel; Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
    • Ability to be proactive and anticipate executive management's needs.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Ability to productively work in a diverse workplace.
    • Ability to maneuver in all areas of the casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks.
    • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift/ move, push, or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
    • Skilled in organizing and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
    • Skilled in providing prompt and clear communication with a variety of methods including but not limited to telephone, email, and verbal communication.
    • Ability to exhibit self-motivation, showing initiative in all aspects of work (e.g., creating new methods to streamline tasks).

    • Availability - Ability to work different shifts, holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24/7 operation.
    • Physical - Ability to maneuver in all areas of the casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift/ move, push, or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
