We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multifamily Asset Manager to join a growing team in Miami.As the Director of Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and financial success of our portfolio of multifamily properties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate asset management, specifically in the multifamily sector, and possess excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage the overall performance and profitability of a portfolio of multifamily properties in Miami, ensuring the achievement of financial and operational objectives.
Conduct regular property inspections to assess physical condition, maintenance needs, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Analyze market trends, economic factors, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for property value enhancement, rental growth, and expense reduction.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction and retention.
Monitor property financials, prepare regular reports, and conduct financial analysis to evaluate property performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to senior management.
Oversee lease administration, including lease negotiations, rent increases, lease renewals, and tenant improvements.Collaborate with the property management team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, timely rent collection, and effective marketing strategies.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in multifamily asset management, and apply this knowledge to enhance portfolio performance.
Manage and coordinate the due diligence process for potential acquisitions and dispositions of multifamily properties.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of4+ years of experience in multifamily asset management, with a proven track record of success in managing a portfolio of properties.
Strong knowledge of real estate finance, investment analysis, and market research.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, conduct risk assessments, and make informed business decisions.
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Solid understanding of property management principles, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
