    Citrus Construction is currently seeking a full-time Safety and Asset Management Coordinator to join our team. Are you a highly skilled and experienced Construction Safety Coordinator with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team

    Safety and Asset Management Coordinator

    Location:
    The position is based at our Miramar office, with responsibilities extending to various project sites across Florida.

    Key Qualifications:

    This role is pivotal in establishing and enforcing safety standards for our projects and ensuring the well-being of our team and stakeholders.


    About Us:
    Citrus Construction, a division of The Richman Group, specializes in multi-family new construction and remodeling.

    Founded as a general building contractor with the objective of streamlining the overall construction process from development to property management.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards.
    • Regularly review and update safety protocols to ensure compliance with evolving regulations and best practices.
    • Conduct safety training sessions, including the OSHA 30-hour class, for team members and subcontractors.
    • Maintain relevant certifications and stay updated with the latest safety training methodologies.
    • Perform regular safety audits at various construction sites to ensure compliance with established safety standards.
    • Respond to incidents, coordinate with authorities during OSHA inspections, and implement corrective actions.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to the field team regarding safety practices.
    • Collect and manage safety-related documentation from subcontractors.
    • Review and enhance the security posture of projects.
    • Establish policies and coordinate with vendors for the installation of security equipment like access control systems and CCTV.
    • Oversee the inventory and tracking of equipment.
    • Implement systems for efficient management and utilization of resources.
    • Set up and track safety and general training programs for Citrus team members.
    • Ensure all team members are up to date with mandatory trainings and certification.

    Requirements:

    Education:
    The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in related field.


    Licenses and Certifications:
    -


    • Certification to teach OSHA 30-hour safety classes, OSHA 500.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    Skills:

    • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
    • Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
    • Experience in security management and coordination with security vendors.
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
    • Ability to travel to various sites within Florida; dependable transportation is a must.
