    Description


    A Benefits Coordinator, also known as an Employee Benefits Coordinator, plays a crucial role in helping employees navigate and understand their company's benefit programs.

    They ensure that employees are well-informed about their benefit options and assist them throughout the enrollment process.

    Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Enrollment Assistance: Meet with employees individually to discuss benefit options, answer questions, and guide them through the enrollment process.
    • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of employee insurance information, including enrollment status and coverage details.
    • Payroll Deductions: Review monthly deductions related to benefits and ensure accuracy.
    • Issue Resolution: Address employee issues related to benefits by liaising with benefits administrators and insurance providers.
    • New Hire Orientation: Provide explanations of benefits to new hires and instruct them on enrollment procedures.
    • Ongoing Support: Offer ongoing support to both HR and benefits teams, assisting with eligibility inquiries and other relevant matters.
    • Compliance: Ensure that the company's benefits policy complies with applicable laws and regulations.

    Required Skills & Experience


    • Tools: BenManage
    • Familiarity with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Fidelity, Floras247, guardian etc.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain benefit options and address employee queries.
    • Attention to Detail: Precise record-keeping and accuracy in managing benefit-related data.
    • Knowledge of

    Benefits Programs:
    Familiarity with health insurance, retirement plans (such as 401K), and other employee benefits.


    • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve benefits-related issues promptly and efficiently.
    • Legal Compliance: Awareness of relevant laws and regulations governing employee benefits.

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.

    Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
