Position Overview:


The Benefits Coordinator will provide day to day operational and administrative support for the Benefits team and participate in the implementation and maintenance of Broad's benefit programs.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Learn Broad's benefits offerings and be able to effectively and clearly communicate them verbally and in written response to employees.
  • Responsible for update and maintenance of canned responses documents.
  • Review, audit and process benefit plan vendor invoices on a weekly and monthly basis. Maintain annual invoice tracker. Reconcile any payment discrepancies with Accounts Payable.
  • Process Workday Inbox Items (Benefit Change, Notify Carrier(s), Time Off Plan Transfer Balance) on a daily basis
  • Process monthly audit of life events and complete and close as needed.
  • Process and maintain tracking information for tuition and other reimbursements. Provide reports on annual spend as needed.
  • Process audit for Monthly Parking and Monthly Commuter Benefits to make certain this does not overlap based on employee elections.
  • Process Monthly Bicycle Reimbursement audit in a timely manner to coincide with payroll deadlines.
  • Assist with routine benefit plan inquiries via the benefit help ticket system in a timely manner.
  • Present weekly new hire orientation and provide additional new hire support as necessary.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment and Benefits Fair.
  • Assist with testing of the Workday system for system upgrades and at open enrollment.
  • Assist with various Benefits/BroadLife projects as needed.

Skills:

- _Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information._
- _Excellent oral and written communication skills._
- _Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to determine when an employee issue should be escalated._
- _Intermediate level experience in MS Word and Excel (V-Lookups & Pivot Tables), Google Suite, and Zoom._
- _Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment._
- _Detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills._
- _Ability to work independently as well as part of a team._


Location:

Hybrid, with 1-2 day onsite per week


Qualifications for Success

To be considered for this role, you must have:
Experience/Education: 2 years relevant experience in benefits or total rewards, or 1 year with a Bachelor's degree


Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including computer and copier/printer.


Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role.


The person in this position frequently communicates with employees who have questions about their benefits or other HR related issues.

Must be able to exchange accurate information via speaking and in written form in these situations

Pay:
$47, $57,467.23 per year
