- Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing clients and Underwriters.
- Analyzes insurance needs, markets to insurers to secure optimum coverage and cost terms for all property and casualty clients.
- Negotiates quotes and coverages with underwriters to obtain the most competitive terms.
- Inputs and maintains all customer related insurance data into the corporate agency management system – Applied Epic.
- Responds to exposure questions from underwriters and coverage questions from clients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supervise 1-2 Account Executives
- Familiarity with various lines of coverage with expertise in at least two of the following: General Liability, Property, Auto, WC, Umbrella/Excess, Crime, Cyber D&O, Employment Practices Liability, Pollution and Errors & Omissions.
- Preparation of proposals, comparisons of coverage, schedules of insurance, underwriting schedules, insurance applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Degree or demonstrated equivalent work experience
- & Casualty Producers License

The Senior Account Executive's primary responsibility is to retain and build upon an established book of business with a focus on delivering and creating additional value for clients through in-depth insurance knowledge to support a continued, long-term relationship while meeting or exceeding annual sales and retention goals.

Education/Experience/Licenses:
