    Job Description:

    Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine support activities in the technical support function.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    · As a technical liaison, is responsible for providing troubleshooting and repair technical support to company field engineers, technicians, and customers.

    · Assesses and responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment or software.

    · May report design, reliability, and maintenance problems to engineering.

    · This entry-level position requires knowledge of company product lines and troubleshooting methods.

    · May assist Sales Manager, and dealers in price quotes, technical questions, and product demonstrations.

    · Coordinates with Sales, Material Control, and Q.C. on customer queries.

    · Collects background data (cost, order history, etc.) to assist in large order negotiations.

    · Maintains competitive literature and pricing files for ready reference. Write application notes.

    · Assist with touchscreen product return testing and analysis.

    Requirements:
    1. Recommened - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
    2. Proven experience in technical support, help desk, or customer service roles, preferably in the technology or software industry.
    3. Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with a solid understanding of hardware, software, operating systems, and networking concepts.
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
    5. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
    6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
    7. Proficiency in using help desk software, CRM systems, and remote support tools to manage and track customer interactions and technical issues.
    8. Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
    9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
    10. Willingness to continuously learn and acquire new skills, stay updated on emerging technologies, and pursue professional development opportunities.
