    Description

    We're in search of experienced and motivated Technical Support/Service Desk Engineers to join us at our Global HQ in Chicago [This position is internally known as 'Client Platforms Engineer']

    Overview:

    We are on the lookout for a highly motivated and customer-focused Client Platforms Engineer to join our dynamic IT support team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and assistance to DV Trading's end-users, ensuring smooth IT service operations and providing top-notch customer service.

    Responsibilities:

    • First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial point of contact for IT-related issues and requests from end-users via various channels.
    • Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and application problems promptly.
    • Incident Management: Follow established procedures for timely resolution of technical issues and keep end-users informed.
    • Request Fulfillment: Manage routine service requests efficiently.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of interactions and create knowledge base articles.
    • IT Asset Management: Assist in managing IT assets including inventory and software licenses.
    • Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing training to enhance technical skills and propose process improvements.
    • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
    • Communication: Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project coordination.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in a Service Desk Engineer or similar role.
    • Solid understanding of IT fundamentals including operating systems and networking concepts.
    • Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and incident management.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
    • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 coverage.
