From our Duluth (GA) office our team services the North American markets (USA and Canada), what includes engineering/ technical and logistical service to our partners, distributors and MEP customers, all associated with the Sikla range of products.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is open to US based candidates with an understanding of the US construction industry and with a background in technical project management (preferred).
The Technical Project Manager of Engineering & Construction is responsible for all upcoming duties to manage Sikla projects successfully.Reporting to the Managing Director (MD) and Deputy Managing Director (DMD), you will work on all kind of industrial opportunities.
Your job will be backed up by our engineers, warehouse and logistics and by the internal customer service team. Our new TPM will be trained (step-by-step) by our local engineers.DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for all aspects of managing project processes in terms of organization, communication, engineering and construction site/ field tasks.
Taking care of customer visits (project- related) on a regular basis (EPC ́s, Contractors, Clients/ Owners).
Building up a "network" with all Clients/ Customers.
Stays in direct contact with EPC ́s, Contractor companies and Clients/ Owners and is responsible for presentation events for Sikla products as well as for technical training when needed through the entire duration of a project.
Responsible for supporting our Engineering and Customer Service Team with customer RFQ ́s. The TPMEC is also the first contact for customer requests.
Responsible for all engineering processes, which are required to evaluate material lists, to work on customer requests (RFQ ́s) and cost estimates and to organize Sikla material management for our Sikla warehouse as well as for project sites or partner companies in the US.
Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems and conferring with management.
Reports about all important developments through the Sikla CRM module SalesForce.
Responsible for coordinating and discussing required Sikla Engineering and Site Services with management.
The TPMEC is self-motivated, pro- active and commercially driven.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent imperial/ metric and numerical skills. Reading, Writing and Speaking in American English.
Working productively, efficiently, effectively with initiative and drive under tight timetables.
Distinct reliability and commitment in internal and external communication.
Proactivity and personal responsibility. Enjoys working in teams.
Flexible, adaptable and willing to learn.

MS Office skills for Outlook, Excel (+ VB), Word, PowerPoint.
Software application skills for NavisWorks (AutoCAD) are advantageous.
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor ́s Degree in Engineering or related technical education.
2- 3+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment would be preferred.
