Position Description
Weris is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented part-time Contracts Administrator. The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for supporting and overseeing contract administration functions in support of government contracts.
This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and contractual obligations while supporting the efficient operation of the business development, proposal, and service delivery teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Contract Management:
Prepare, review, and negotiate government contracts, subcontracts, and modifications.
Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate and organized contract files and documentation.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contract execution.
Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits of contract activities with Weris Program Managers.
Reporting and Documentation:
As requested, works with Weris PM's to prepare and submit contract-related reports, including status updates, performance metrics, and compliance reports.
Ensure timely and accurate contract closeout, extension, or renewal processes.
Coordination and Communication:
Serve as primary or secondary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract-related matters.
Collaborate with service delivery, finance, and other departments to ensure contract requirements are met.
Provide guidance and training to project teams on contract administration processes and best practices.
Proposal Support (as needed):
Assist in the development and review of proposals, including pricing and cost analysis.
Coordinate with proposal teams to ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and company policies.
Qualifications- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government contract administration or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field.
Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or similar certification preferred.
Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and other government contracting regulations.
Familiarity with contract management software and tools.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team as needed.
