- Coordinate and facilitate vendor contracting process for assigned Trinity Health Strategic Sourcing category team or Regional Health Ministry in line with organization's strategies.
- Maintain compliance with Trinity Health policies and procedures throughout the contract process.
- Conduct competitive sourcing and negotiation on initiatives with low risk and value.
- Act as a liaison between Legal Department and Strategic Sourcing/Regional Health Ministry for vendor contracts.
- Handle various routine to moderately complex contractual matters or projects.
- Support contract management system within Trinity Health.
- Assist with other projects as assigned by Strategic Sourcing/Regional Health Ministry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 4-5 years of prior contract administration experience or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Legal assistant, paralegal degree, or certificate from an American Bar Association approved program or the equivalent.
- Contract drafting and administration experience.
- Prior experience in a corporate purchasing department, law firm, or corporate legal department.
- Perform work in a caring, collaborative, and safe manner.
- Ensure productive use of resources to achieve commitments and quality standards.
- Accountable for continuous self-development and supporting the growth of others.
- Develop and adhere to standard process workflows for creation, review, and approval of vendor contracts.
- Assist in the development of contract processes, guides, and terms aligned with Strategic Sourcing.
- Support Strategic Sourcing and vendors to maximize contract terms in alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct competitive sourcing and negotiation for various supplies, services, and equipment.
- Analyze vendor responses, perform cost benefit analyses, and present findings.
- Assist in managing Business Associate Agreements, confidentiality agreements, and contractual changes.
- Coordinate final document execution between Trinity Health/Regional Health Ministries and vendors.
- Provide training and support to Supply Chain stakeholders involved in contract process workflow.
