    Contracts Administrator/Specialist with Security Clearance - Sterling, United States - Technica

    Responsibilities:

    • Take charge of all contracts-related assignments for successful execution; research matters related to employment, contract, intellectual property, and corporate law.
    • Draft and edit non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
    • Review and provide input on statements of work, proposals, and purchase orders.
    • Assist in policy document creation for employment law, intellectual property, and general corporate/contract law topics.
    • Coordinate matters with the Contracts Manager for the Legal Department.
    • Support various departments with contracts-related work such as proposal, BD, PM, and Finance.
    • Participate in contract negotiations, administration, and customer contact activities.
    • Answer inquiries and provide interpretation of contractual language to internal personnel.
    • Complete various contracts, administrative, and legal tasks as required.
    • Maintain and update a weekly electronic status report of transactions.
    • Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate contracts and task orders.
    • Prepare bids, process specifications and reports, advise management of contractual rights and obligations, compile and analyze data, and maintain historical information.
    • Monitor company performance for conformance to original proposal and ensure contract compliance.
    • Prepare and share updates on contract status, compliance, modification, negotiation, and termination throughout the organization.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years of government contracting experience.
    • Experience in legal writing and research.
    • Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and procurement process.
    • Hands-on experience with drafting and negotiating contract documents.
    • Prior experience in administering contract closeout process.

    Desired:

    • 5+ years of proven government contracting experience.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
