Description

SHINE is immediately seeking engineering or physical science graduates to join our team and fill a variety of hands-on technical and operational roles to help us grow our radiation effects testing business in Janesville, WI.

Ideal candidates enjoy a fast-paced, challenging environment, where individuals work collaboratively with advanced nuclear technology to safely and effectively deliver services and solutions for our customers.

A strong desire to learn and curiosity about technology is required.

Candidates selected for informational interviews will be contacted to discuss opportunities available at SHINE for those with an engineering, physical science, or related technical background.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in engineering, any discipline, or related physical science (e.g., physics, chemistry) or other technical field.
Willingness to learn and understand new technology, instrumentation, and technical processes.
Ability to read from engineering drawings or schematics.
Ability to follow written procedures and accurately record data.
Ability to work safely within an industrial and radiation environment.
Ability to work multiple, staggered, or non-traditional shifts.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant's ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls.

Additionally, applicant's eligibility may be conditioned based upon meeting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for access to Safeguards Information, which typically requires a pre-employment drug screen, fingerprinting and criminal background check.
