Simulation Design Engineer - Aerospace and Defense

Ingenium Technologies - Rockford, IL

Position Purpose

The Senior Simulation Design Engineer participates in defining the overall technical solution by interfacing directly with project management and design engineers with the goal of providing system level architectures necessary to support the end-users technical requirements.

Primary activities include creation of system architecture, performance prediction, system sizing analysis, creating technical requirements baselines and Verification and Validation planning.

Education or Formal Training
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or technical science field required, advanced degree preferred.
Software
MS Office
Experience Required

10-15 years experience in Mechanical Engineering preferably in the aerospace and defense industry years of capabilities and competencies in Modeling and Simulation, Verification and Validation Methods, Control System Design, Integration and Test.

Compensation: 6-12 Month Contract, Remote Work Eligible
