Janesville Technical Assistants for Mechatronics (utm_medium=education portal&utm_campaign=uid45&utm_content=text) possess interdisciplinary expertise in all systems that contain mechanical, electronic, and information technology components.

They work in areas such as mechanical engineering, automotive industry, automation, medical technology, as well as aerospace, alongside engineers and other professionals, and are responsible for the assembly, commissioning, technical support, optimization, and maintenance of mechatronic systems.

In order to acquire these skills, you will receive comprehensive technical and administrative training in the following areas:

  • Measurement, testing, and calculation of mechanical and electrical quantities
  • Control of pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Transport, assembly, and disassembly of systems and equipment
  • Programming and operation of various hardware and software components
  • System and error analysisRelevant topics covered in the training program include:
  • Applied mathematics and physics
  • Manufacturing technology
  • Mechatronic subsystems
  • Automation technology / control systems
  • Computer science, including programming of mechatronic systems
  • Programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Business administration and social studies
  • Customer communication and basics of marketing
  • Technical EnglishTraining costs are 195 euros per month. Funding is available through non-repayable student loans, child benefits, and education loans.
