    Are you passionate about building strong business relationships and driving sales growth?

    Cranswick Plc is seeking a talented National Account Manager to join our dynamic team and take ownership of managing and growing our business within the Discounters business unit, including key accounts such as Lidl, Aldi, Iceland, Bargain Stores, and Booths.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading food producer and contribute to our continued success in the market.

    As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing business within specific categories such as fresh pork, bacon & gammon, and sausages.

    Your main focus will be on developing first-class trading relationships with key retail accounts to achieve budgeted volume and net sales growth.

    You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as NPD, Category Marketing, and Supply Chain to create and implement sales growth plans and strategies.


    Main duties include (but not limited to):
    Manage day-to-day retail account business and drive profitable sales growth in assigned categories.
    Monitor performance metrics weekly to ensure plan delivery and accountability for P&L across specific categories and customers.
    Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting, pricing, and cost management.
    Maximize promotional opportunities and optimize product margins to drive profitability.
    Work closely with Quality, Value, Innovation, and People teams to align strategies and deliver business objectives effectively.
    Requirements, experience and person specification
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively at different levels.
    Strong team player with a results-focused and self-motivated attitude.

    Commercially astute with numeracy skills and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in National Account Management or a similar role.

    Experience in Joint Business Planning and understanding of customer strategies.
    Proficient in analyzing category data, managing projects, and holding a valid driving license.
