    Overview:

    South Floridas beacon of hospitality, Pier Sixty-Six Resort is returning to Fort Lauderdale with an opening date of October 2024. From the famed superyacht marina to the iconic spires of the rotating Pier-Top lounge, a new world of elevated experiences is set to unfold around it. The lush 32-acre waterfront enclave will be home to the extraordinary luxury resort hosting 325 guest rooms, suites and villas, plus an exclusive collection of 91 Private Resort Residences, 12 restaurants and lounges, a luxurious spa, curated pool options and a waterfront promenade with retail and dining. Every space is impeccably designed to both inspire and relax. All met with exceptional service and refined touches that result in truly extraordinary experiences. The Resort will assemble over 600 diverse and talented Team Members to bring Pier Sixty-Six to life and create a new legacy by providing memorable experiences and stellar service to our guests and residents.     The Director of Club Events and Sales is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning, sales, and execution to create unforgettable experiences for club members and guests. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, managing event logistics, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive revenue growth and exceed member expectations.

    Responsibilities:
    • Conceptualize, plan, and execute a wide range of events, including member social gatherings, private parties, corporate functions, and special celebrations.
    • Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, dcor, entertainment, audiovisual requirements, and staffing.
    • Ensure seamless execution of events, overseeing setup, operations, and post-event activities to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
    • Drive and cultivate membership sales for the exclusive club.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to drive event bookings, membership upgrades, and revenue growth.
    • Identify target markets, prospects, and sales opportunities, leveraging networking, outreach, and promotional activities to generate leads and secure bookings.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and digital content to showcase the club's event offerings and attract prospective clients.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with existing club members, corporate clients, event planners, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, providing personalized service, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations.
    • Proactively follow up with members post-event to solicit feedback, gather testimonials, and nurture ongoing relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
    • Develop and manage event budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, tracking expenses, revenue, and profitability to achieve sales targets and maximize ROI.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure cost-effective event solutions without compromising quality or service standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including food and beverage, operations, and facilities management, to coordinate event logistics, resources, and support services.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the successful execution of events and the achievement of sales goals and objectives.
    • Master the art of staff scheduling, deftly crafting weekly plans that harmonize the needs of all Pier Sixty- Six Private Club positions, optimizing efficiency while maintaining a harmonious work-life balance.
    • Exhibit unwavering dedication to providing a luxurious experience by collaborating seamlessly with ancillary departments, orchestrating a symphony of excellence that transcends expectations at the Pier Sixty-Six Club.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
    • Proven experience in event planning, sales, and management within the hospitality industry, preferably in a private members club, luxury hotel, or upscale event venue.
    • Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and stakeholders.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    • Creative problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to overcoming challenges and delivering exceptional results.
