    Description

    My Client is a distinguished private equity investment group headquartered in Dallas, specializing in acquiring non-operated working interests in long-life producing oil and gas properties. Their approach prioritizes long-term value creation through disciplined, fundamentals-based investment strategies.

    Position Overview:

    The organization is currently seeking a mid-level professional to lead their marketing and investor relations efforts. This role will play a pivotal part in their expansion into institutional investors and family offices, complementing their existing financial advisor relationships. The ideal candidate will be a versatile individual with a proactive attitude, capable of managing a wide array of responsibilities including fundraising, relationship management, marketing, public relations, event planning, and mentoring developing junior staff.

    The Marketing/Investor Relations Team Lead will work very closely with the President and CEO and other members of the senior management team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute marketingand investor relationsstrategies to supportthe expansion into institutional investors and family offices.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing investors to secure capital commitments.
    • Lead fundraising efforts by preparing marketingmaterials, pitch presentations, and due diligence documentation.
    • Collaborate with the investment team to communicate investment strategies, performance updates, and market insights.
    • Coordinate marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and content creation.
    • Manage PR initiatives to enhance the firm's reputation and visibility withinthe industry.
    • Plan and execute annual general meetings, investor events,conferences, and roadshowsto engage with current and prospective investors.
    • Plan and execute corporate equity investor meetings and events.
    • Provide mentorship and guidanceto junior staff members, fosteringtheir professional development and growth.
    • Stay updated on industrytrends, regulations, and competitor activities to inform marketing and investor relations strategies.

    Qualifications and background:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, marketing, or related field; MBA or CFA advantageous.
    • 10+ years of experience in marketing, investor relations, fundraising, or related roles in financial services.
    • Proven track record of successfully raising capital from institutional investors and/or family offices.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and industry regulations.
    • Exceptional communication skills, adept at articulating complex investment concepts clearly.
    • Demonstrated leadership ability, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Strategic thinker with expertise in developing and executing comprehensive marketing and investor relations strategies.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, CRM software, and marketing analytics tools.
