    Description


    Overview of Responsibilities The Donor Relations Specialist is pivotal in cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors to support PWNA's mission and goals.

    This position requires effective communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and ethics to engage with donors effectively.

    The Donor Relations Specialist collaborates with various departments within the organization to ensure donor stewardship, retention, and growth that further connect donors to the mission of PWNA and the importance of philanthropy.

    Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

    • Cultivate donor relationships through personalized communication and engagement strategies.
    • Serve as the primary contact for donor inquiries and provide updates on PWNA programs and initiatives.
    • Monitor and respond to PWNA's electronic and telephonic accounts and donor communications professionally and promptly.
    • Develop and implement stewardship plans to recognize and retain donors.
    • Collaborating with colleagues across departments and participating in professional development opportunities.
    • Monitor and track donor interactions, gifts, and preferences using PWNA's organizational database.
    • Complete departmental reports and other duties assigned

    Experience/Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as nonprofit management or business administration.
    • Previous experience in fundraising or donor relations preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Commitment to PWNA's mission and ethical standards.
    Will be required to occasionally come into corporate office. Core Competencies Required for this Position

    • Build and nurture relationships with diverse donors.
    • Create engaging donor experiences and leverage technology for communication.
    • Understanding of fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices.
    • Familiarity with fundraising metrics and tools for tracking donor interactions, gifts, and trends.
    • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to adapt fundraising approaches based on donor demographics, interests, and giving history.
    • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple donor relationships, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and allocate resources efficiently to maximize donor engagement and retention.
    • Attentive to detail, maintaining the highest data integrity and hygiene level.
    • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and representing PWNA with integrity.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, situations, and donor preferences in a dynamic fundraising environment.
    • Willingness to learn and apply new skills, technologies, and fundraising strategies to enhance donor relations efforts.
    • Resilience in overcoming challenges and setbacks while maintaining a positive attitude and focus on achieving organizational goals.
    Salary Description $50,000
