    Description


    Corporate Accounting Manager at R1 RCM in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description The Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 2-3 senior accountants who will be responsible for assembling, consolidating, evaluating, interpreting, and analyzing financial and accounting information.

    On a day-to-day basis the Corporate Accounting Manager's team is responsible for various accounting functions, such as compensation, debt, internally developed software, intangible assets, fixed assets, and leases, in the accounting close and reporting process.

    To thrive in this role the Corporate Accounting Manager will review monthly journal entries, and account reconciliations, administer SOX controls, and perform analysis in partnership with FP&A over capital projects.

    The Corporate Accounting Manager will report to the Corporate Accounting Senior Manager.


    Responsibilities:
    + Conducts and reviews moderately complex accounting activities and participates heavily in the monthly close process. + Ensures financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely through review of journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses. + Evaluates the effectiveness and adequacy of financial internal controls in accordance with the Company's SOX program and interacts with internal and external auditors. + Trains and develops direct reports including goal setting and performance evaluations. Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their team to assure mutual understanding of desired results. + Evaluates existing processes and reconciliations for improvement and implements efficient solutions and necessary process changes as identified. + Supports large, complex accounting projects. Responsible for leading moderately complex accounting projects. + Brings inconsistencies or issues along with proposed solutions to the attention of senior management. + Works closely with company-wide departments, including FP&A, Legal, and Human Resources, to ensure accounting information is represented accurately and timely. + Exercises sound business acumen and judgment. Understands the financial operations of departments, divisions, and business units supported.


    Requirements:
    + Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related discipline, required. + Minimum 5-6 years' experience required, with public accounting experience preferred. + CPA license For this US-based position, the base pay range is $81, $130,586.00 per year .
