    About the role

    We are seeking a Senior Manager and HRBP of HR and People Operations; to own & implement programs and systems that scale and grow the employee experience at WNDR (headquartered in Chicago, IL).

    This is a hybrid role (4 days in office/week) and involves supervising all People operations across the current three units while helping plan for needs to grow the company into new cities.


    This position reports to the CEO and will be responsible for strategic contribution and recommendations for the department as well as the day-to-day management of all People-related systems and processes.

    This role will have support from a soon to be hired office manager, who shares a portion of their schedule with the CEO and CXO.

    Preferred Qualifications
    5+ years experience as a leader in People Operations, PHR or SHRM certification strongly preferred
    Experience working with a PEO/Human Resources Information System (HRIS) (e.g., Rippling) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
    Experience implementing various People systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lattice, company intranet, anonymous feedback tool)
    Experience implementing policy and procedure for both exempt and non-exempt employee populations
    In-depth understanding of People best practices, with the ability to move seamlessly from strategy development to execution
    A deep knowledge of HR practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations
    Ability to work effectively and cross functionally with internal & external stakeholders
    Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills
    Critical thinker with high level of integrity and ability to use good judgment
    Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple, multi-faceted projects at once
    Strong people management skills
    Excellent communication skills, with executive presence and poise
    Hospitality/"Start-up" experience could definitely be beneficial
    What a typical week might look like
    Serve as an integral

    member of the WNDR Global team to advise on People Operations and various programs impacting the organization as a whole
    You'll hire, retain, and provide leadership and coaching to a team of managers and functional specialists
    Evaluate current People processes and develop strategy and functional roadmap to support business needs
    Lead the continual development of HR programs, including, but not limited to: recruiting, retention, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and learning & development
    Lead and facilitate complex large scale, cross-functional HR business projects involving systems and/or business processes to obtain business goals and operational objectives
    Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement a customer-focused mindset in building out People technology, processes, and operational capabilities across offices
    Identify opportunities to improve People programs and services by leveraging technology and implementing process improvements
    Provide solutions with clearly defined scope, deliverables, resources, and key measures of success
    Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organization development
    Identify and implement solutions to address demands of rapidly growing business
    Partner with leaders to shape how People Operations fits into WNDR's overall business strategy and supports desired business outcomes as WNDR scales
    Assist in unlocking data insights and apply data throughout People Operations to drive decision-making and efficiency gains
    Be conscious of future analytic needs and ensure basic data integrity steps are built into processes
    Evaluate the competitive landscape and create strategies to adapt to changing market trends to ensure that our programs remain competitive
