As part of this remarkable journey, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager.

    The job

    The Area Sales Manager is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and developing customer contacts to generate sales of Capital Equipment in the North American market. This position prepares, submits and negotiates proposals based upon customers' requirements.

    You will report to the Sales Director and be a part of the Sales team in North America.

    Tasks and responsibilities

    • Generates new customer accounts as well as maintains existing customer contacts.
    • Recommends equipment based on technical expertise and customer's requirements.
    • Prepares quotations and bid specifications.
    • Negotiates contracts with customers.
    • Interfaces with other departments, including Engineering, and Project Management to oversee project development.
    • Provides sales forecasts for management and finance department.

    What we want from you

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, or Engineering preferred, or equivalent job experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in capital equipment or automated machinery.
    • Knowledge or experience in the field of rendering is preferred.
    • Experience in setting product/project scope parameters, establishing pricing policies, and negotiating contracts.
    • An energetic, effective, self-starter, who can manage time effectively and achieve agreed goals.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills with a demonstrated history of maintaining strong customer relationships.
    • Strong analytical mindset, problem solving skills, technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to translate customer needs into concrete solutions.
    • Proficiency in utilizing a CRM system to analyze and execute on data.
    • Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time.
