    Job Summary:

    The Commercial Analytics Manager will be an integral part of the Commercial Excellence team, providing operational and analytical support and data-driven recommendations to commercial leaders. This individual will help drive forecasting and demand planning, develop and model sales incentive planning as well as performance tracking, and use data to identify critical trends and develop actionable insights. The commercial analytics manager will work closely with Commercial, Finance, IT and Business Unit leadership to build a framework and capability around commercial analytics, enabling data driven decision making. In addition to a deep proficiency in data analytics, the ideal candidate also has strong business acumen, and can anticipate needs and propose solutions to business challenges.

    This is a remote opportunity, with occasional travel required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and improve standard work/templates and processes around orders forecasting for all commercial teams, including Key Accounts, North America, and Europe / Rest of World, working closely with commercial leaders to prepare for forecast discussions, driving forecast accuracy, and identifying material risks and upsides
    • Driving and owning improvements to commercial processes, gaining cross-functional support and implementing solutions
    • Responsible for developing tools, processes and sales funnel analytics for demand planning which will ultimately drive revenue forecasting, by collaborating with commercial, operations and finance teams
    • Report on monthly Key Performance Indicators for commercial team and digging into the "why" behind a number, with analysis providing color on gaps and/or trends
    • Identify, acquire and maintain critical data sources to understand our market landscape, and the performance of our business initiatives, including commercial metrics
    • Support incentive compensation planning process by developing rigorous simulation models testing different plan elements and quotas to maximize sales potential
    • Track sales and incentive compensation performance on a monthly and quarterly basis, and partner with sales leaders and others to assess effectiveness of plans
    • Create and implement reports and dashboards for marketing and sales teams to maximize prospecting and business growth opportunities, partnering with relevant stakeholders to define requirements and drive adoption

    Job Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of experience in relevant field (finance, sales operations, analytics)
    • Bachelor's Degree required (business, finance or related coursework preferred); MBA preferred
    • Strong and succinct communication skills. This job will interact with cross-functional associates across the organization, and will require the ability to synthesize takeaways at an executive level
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, with excellent attention to detail and prioritization skills. Global mindset, with ability to identify and customize to regional business needs as we grow
    • Results and data driven mindset, with ability to think critically and provide recommendations for improvement
