    Self-Help's internship program is designed to give students valuable experience in a professional setting while broadening their knowledge of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs).We hope to educate and create a passion for the field of community development in the next generation of leaders.

    We are seeking a Human Resources/ Talent Acquisition Intern to join our HR Team

    Self-Help is constantly seeking ways to improve recruitment processes and Talent Acquisition (TA) best practices in order to find the best talent. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in recruitment has been gaining momentum in recent years, and it's no surprise that it is revolutionizing the world of recruitment. Self-Help recognizes the potential of AI in recruitment and is seeking an intern to support AI efforts, as well as expand other TA best practices.

    WHAT You'll Do:
    • Learn Self-Help's current recruitment processes and methods to gain an understanding of areas where AI can be utilized.
      • Involves studying the various stages of the current recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
    • Research and identify areas of opportunity where AI can make a significant impact in improving Self-Help's recruitment efforts.
      • Involves researching and identifying the best AI tools and platforms that can be integrated into the recruitment process.
    • Develop, design, and recommend a plan for the application of AI technology in Self-Help's recruitment process.
    • Work closely with the Director of Talent Management and Talent HR team to understand requirements for the recommended customized AI solutions and TA best practices recommendations, ensuring that the design/plan meets Self-Help's needs.
    • Support the Talent Director with expanding current talent acquisition best practices/strategies.
