    Overview:

    South Floridas beacon of hospitality, Pier Sixty-Six Resort is returning to Fort Lauderdale with an opening date of October 2024. From the famed superyacht marina to the iconic spires of the rotating Pier-Top lounge, a new world of elevated experiences is set to unfold around it. The lush 32-acre waterfront enclave will be home to the extraordinary luxury resort hosting 325 guest rooms, suites and villas, plus an exclusive collection of 91 Private Resort Residences, 12 restaurants and lounges, a luxurious spa, curated pool options and a waterfront promenade with retail and dining. Every space is impeccably designed to both inspire and relax. All met with exceptional service and refined touches that result in truly extraordinary experiences. The Resort will assemble over 600 diverse and talented Team Members to bring Pier Sixty-Six to life and create a new legacy by providing memorable experiences and stellar service to our guests and residents.     We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Director of Training to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team

    As the Director of Training, you will embody our core values to create, coordinate, and implement innovative learning programs that empower our staff to reach new heights of excellence. Youll be the driving force behind our commitment to quality and guest satisfaction, ensuring that every team member contributes to our success.

    Responsibilities:
    • Create and deliver engaging, cutting-edge training modules and programs.
    • Continuously assess training needs through rigorous analysis and feedback channels.
    • Conduct training audits and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements.
    • Proactively research and collaborate with external training resources to infuse fresh perspectives and expertise into our programs.
    • Communicate our training strategies with enthusiasm, and consistently advise management on training matters.
    • Conduct engaging new hire orientations that inspire new team members from day one.
    • Educate new team members on our training tools, equipping them with strategies for continuous improvement.
    • Champion the Roots of Service program throughout the properties, reinforcing our commitment to exceptional service.
    • Facilitate strategic planning sessions, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
    Qualifications:
    • Experience leading Training & Development in a large, luxury resort or hotel.
    • Clear understanding of the Forbes 5-star standards (previously 5-star certified)
    • TIPS certified.
    • Experience in Instructional Design a plus.
    • Ability to command the room with executive presence.
    • Computer literate with the ability to learn HRIS systems.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
