Redwood Brands is a dynamic sales execution organization that supports independent spirits and non-alcoholic brands accelerate and scale their offerings in key markets and channels in the U.S.
Redwood Brands is currently seeking a Regional Director to join the team. The position is based out of IL and reports to the Redwood Brands team GM.The role will be focused on leading sales execution strategy for the portfolio brands in the U.S., with focus on harvesting the potential in the IL market while having distributor oversight in key strategic markets in the West, Central and East.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
A beverage industry professional with at least 8 years of sales experience and customer management, of which at least 4 are in a leadership role.
Wholesale experience a plus.The ideal candidate will have experience in leading sales people in multiple markets along with a track record of managing and nurturing relationships with big distributors
Proven ability in sales management / growing brands.
Proficient in MS Office applications and expert in the use of business intelligence in effecting strategy development and execution.
Good public speaking and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence distributor partners and develop key, retail customer relationships
Must be able to drive and lift/carry 50+ lb boxes of spirits
Must live in Illinois, preferably in the Chicago area
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of direct reports; develop and advance talent
Develop and execute against depletion goals for multiple markets
Monitor, manage and influence distributor performance, including the development and implementation of trade and distributor programs
Conduct sales meetings and brand presentations for distributor sales teams
Motivate and manage distributor sales force and executives through leadership; inspire confidence, gain respect as an effective Redwood Brands leader
Interface directly with key on and off premise accounts
Oversee and direct brand development by identifying new account opportunities; collaborate with Brand teams in the enhancement of brand and consumer strategy
Oversee, monitor and evaluate program execution while controlling effective use of merchandising material
Responsible for the team budgets; manage sales promotion budgets in accordance with company policy and brand/company objectives
Review, asses and discuss monthly performance with key stakeholders
