    Sales Director - Hunter

    REQUIRED - Professional experience in the financial technology (FinTech) industry selling either Trading OMS, Risk & Margin or Trading platform solutions

    Sterling Trading Tech is a rapidly growing Chicago-based financial technology firm operating industry leading trading technology solutions, OMS and Risk and Margin tools is looking for a passionate, hardworking, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of the financial industry and knowledge of the electronic trading industry to join their growing team.

    We are seeking a Sales Director to join our Business Development Team reporting to the Managing Director of Business Development. The Sales Director role will be responsible for sales outreach, and engaging leads in a friendly and professional manner as a public-facing representative of the company.

    As a trusted and proven partner to the professional trading community, we pride ourselves on understanding each clients unique needs and working in partnership to deliver the right technology solution. This position requires leadership capabilities, critical thinking, analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the industry. We nurture the entrepreneurial/start-up spirit and encourage open communications and upward feedback.

    Our US & International client base includes professional traders, broker dealers, hedge funds, clearing firms, and sell side and buy-side firms trading US equities and Options.

    Responsibilities:

    Utilizing existing contacts and build a network with traders, broker dealers, hedge funds, clearing firms, and buy-side trading institutions trading both US and international equities, options and futures.

    Identify and define potential qualified leads to sell Sterlings Risk and Margin product

    Weekly status reporting including insight and feedback from sales meetings

    Analyze and interpret clients business and technical requirements

    Collaborate with Marketing & Client Services as needed

    Desired Qualifications:

    BA/BS or equivalent educational background.

    REQUIRED - Professional experience in the FinTech industry selling either Trading OMS, Risk & Margin or Trading platform solutions

    Must have a hunter mentality that includes extensive cold outreach and lead generation skills.

    Strong multitasking skills

    Ability to maintain the CRM with consistent and real time sales updates

    Proven track record of success

    Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

    Thrives in high-pressure situations that arise in the trading world in a professional manner

    Strong time management and prioritization skills eager to take on new responsibilities
