    Sales Director - Chicago, IL, United States - Gables Search Group

    Description

    Director, Sales and MarketingAs a Sales Director, you will supervise several practice directors and provide guidance to both a sales team and a recruitment team.

    You will take an active role in marketing activities to foster a productive business environment.· Responsible for driving revenue growth and performance of multiple practice groups.· Execute strategies to achieve operational objectives.· Meet productivity standards for individual and practice groups.· Ensure consistent implementation of best practices.· Make timely and informed decisions.· Balance managerial and operational responsibilities effectively.


    • Recruit and hire qualified staff.
    • Develop and retain employees through training and mentorship.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes business development.
    • Identify and nurture high-potential performers.
    • Achieve revenue, profit margin, and operating income targets.
    • Maintain expert knowledge of relevant practice groups.
    • Understand financial trends and implement appropriate strategies accordingly.
    • Effectively communicate with stakeholders and address feedback, expectations, and goals.
    • Build strong relationships across the organization and within the market.
    • Motivate, inspire, and lead by example.
    • Consistently recognize and appreciate contributions.
    • Conduct effective meetings, trainings, and presentations.
    • Develop and execute customer retention and expansion strategies.
    • Deliver superior service to build and maintain customer loyalty.
    Implement Core 4 principles to stand out in the market.
    Lead with integrity, building trust and respect through actions and prioritizing the team's success.
    Promote inclusivity and create a work environment that champions diversity and equity.
    Foster a positive, collaborative, and well-balanced branch culture.
    Mentor, coach, and develop all employees within the branch.
    Invest in personal and professional development for yourself and others.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred.

    • 2+ years of management experience or equivalent, required.3+ years of experience as a Talent Manager, required.
    Proven success in Talent Manager or Practice Director roles.
    Experience in budget development and management.
    Demonstrated ability to generate and drive business development.
    Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
