    Description

    I am currently representing a Long Island based general contractor who are one of the leading companies specialising within Commercial & Retail construction.

    They work on some of the most prestigious and compelling projects across the US in the Commercial & Retail space.

    Due to a steady growth period for the business they are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager.

    About the Role

    • Collaborate with the Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from initiation to completion.
    • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Track project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
    • Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation, contracts, and budgets.
    • Monitor and manage site safety and quality control measures.
    • Proactively identify potential risks and propose effective solutions.
    • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
    • Assist in the preparation of regular project status reports and updates.
    • Contribute to maintaining positive client relationships by addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
    About the Candidate
