    **Operations Support Specialist**

    at Shelf Engine Seattle, WA or Remote Shelf Engine is searching for a talented **Operations Support Specialist** to join our growing team and report directly to our CX Team Lead. In this role, you will work with multiple teams across functions to support the operations team and ensure that customers have positive experiences with Shelf Engine. The goal is to help Shelf Engine transform the grocery industry by reducing food waste and maximizing profits. Youll accomplish this by being attentive to details, a team player, and able to manage your time well. We harness the power of AI to provide real-time, intelligent forecasting and fully automated ordering to food retailers across the United States. Were able to drastically reduce the amount of food waste generated while simultaneously maximizing sales and expanding margins for grocersa triple win for suppliers and retailers, consumers, and the environment.

    This position is based in Seattle or remote.

    **As an Operations Support Specialist at Shelf Engine, you will:**

    Embrace our company principles through inclusive, authentically-kind, and empathetic interactions with our team and our customers

    This is a part-time remote position that supports operations in a variety of tasks to ensure great customer experience and accurate information on our platform (expected in office days are Monday and Wednesday of each week)

    Respond to customer questions about our tools and status of orders

    Submit orders to vendors on behalf of our customers via a variety of methods on time and accurately

    Track, manipulate and update systems with data

    Create reports as needed by the operations team

    Interact with field team and ensure they have accurate information about orders and delivery information

    Perform specific tracking of customer data for audits, reviews and operational improvement projects

    Communicate with customers through email and over the phone

    Are detail-oriented, analytical and savvy

    Are able to manage a wide range of tasks from manual data entry to researching and summarizing information

    Are great at getting it done right and doing it efficiently

    Have a desire to help other and take on new projects

    Are an excellent and clear communicator

    Are efficient at time-management skills and able to prioritize work to meet deadlines

    Have prior experience in a fully-remote position

    Have professional experience supporting operations and/or sales teams

    Have proven track record of successfully maintaining accurate and up to date information in prior roles

    Are familiar with administrative duties and supporting multiple team members

    Have prior experience interfacing with customers through email and over the phone

    Have intermediate MS Excel skills, preferable

    Have a high school diploma; additional training or certifications are an asset

    Authorization to work in the US for any employer
