Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, this high-impact role partners with senior executives throughout the organization.
What you'll be doing
Collaborate with the executive team and product leadership to formulate M&A strategies
Drive the end-to-end M&A process from thesis to integration
Lead external negotiations, with expertise in handling key terms, deal structures, and tactics
Develop and present insights concerning the competitive landscape, industry trends, business models, and consumer behavior
Oversee deal integration, managing cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Business, Operations, and Finance
Develop a strong external network with founders, venture capitalists, investment banks, and industry partners
You Will Thrive In This Role If
7+ years of Corporate Development / M&A experience
Proficiency in leading and negotiating a range of M&A transactions (e.g. acqui-hires, asset purchases, and mergers)
Domain knowledge of M&A structures, inclusive of legal, tax, and accounting implications
Excellent financial and quantitative abilities
Possesses a willingness to assume leadership roles and confront complex challenges
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $203,000 to $221,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience , and relevant
education or training .
