    Job Summary:
    The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist oversee a team of Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist and will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent to meet our organization's objectives. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of recruiting best practices.
    Job Duties:

    • Team Management: Coach and mentor a team of Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure their professional development and success.
    • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates, utilizing various sourcing channels and techniques.
    • Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications to determine their fit for specific roles within the organization.
    • Interview Coordination: Coordinate and conduct interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
    • Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, establish recruitment priorities, and align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
    • Employer Branding: Enhance the organization's employer brand through effective communication of our culture, values, and opportunities to potential candidates.
    • Metrics and Reporting: Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and identify areas for improvement.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in recruitment, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


    Work Setting:

    • This is a full-time remote position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, Hours are 8am-5pm. There will be travel based on location for participation in Job Fair events.


    Education & Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) as a Recruiter, Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist or Staffing Specialist, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
    • Experience with multiple business units and government contracts.
    • Proven experience leading a team of Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist preferred.


    Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

    • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
    • Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Familiarity with sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR practices related to recruitment.
    • The role plays a pivotal role in acquiring top talent, contributing to the success and growth of the organization by ensuring a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
    • Interpersonal competences and presentation skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Efficient in time management, highly organized and good planning abilities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
