    As a member of the Europe & Asia Product Development team, the right candidate will have a broad remit and will be responsible to support activities related to the establishment of new funds and separate accounts and the ongoing management of the existing product range in Asia. Relevant experience with offshore fund domiciles in Europe and Asia, or asset classes including listed equities, fixed income and multi-asset strategies is preferred for this role. You will also collaborate across a number of different teams, including Client Group and Investment Operations among others.

    Primary responsibilities/essential functions:

    • Product Management
      • Support day to day product management activities primarily for products distributed in Asia, including collaboration with product registration teams, share class launches and closures, ongoing maintenance of products across different markets (e.g. supporting periodic updates to product material/offering documents) .
      • Learn about and apply your knowledge of regulatory changes as they impact products, and management of new fund applications or changes with regulators
    • Product Development
      • Support activities that contribute towards the ongoing product development of the Europe & Asia product range at Capital Group across funds, separate accounts and sub-advised mandates such as drafting of business cases, navigation of local and global product governance committees and collaboration with legal and operational teams for the drafting of offering documentation and operational launches.
    • Initiative/Project Management
      • Coordinate business feasibility analysis and grow into project management of the vetting process for new segregated accounts and sub-advised mandates
      • In partnership with GPSD Asia manager, ensure that all new product, product change and client account requests adhere to the regulatory requirements applicable to our product range through the application of the product governance framework and governance processes.
    • Stakeholder Management
      • Build relationships with key Product team members in both broader Global Product Strategy and Development team and Europe and Asia Client Group - Asset Class Services team and equivalent teams in North America.
      • Work closely with the Investment Operations, Legal, Compliance and control groups to ensure that product development and management processes are transparent and collaborative
    About You:
    • Previous relevant experience in the investment funds industry or businesses
    • Understanding of asset management services, portfolio management, operational processes, and legal and regulatory requirements
    • Knowledge of and interest in equity, fixed income & multi-asset investment strategies
    • You are able to work on multiple tasks and manage unforeseen urgencies
    • Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills with team members and managers.
    • Demonstrates commercial, service minded and dynamic attitude;
    • You have high level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Demonstrates initiative by identifying issues for managers/others.
    • Demonstrates sound judgment in resolving routine matters.
    • Demonstrates the ability to identify, assess, respond to, and escalate risks or potential risks encountered through day-to-day activities.
    • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
