    Senior Analyst / Associate – Capital Markets

    Summary:
    Sky Leasing is seeking to hire a Senior Analyst or Associate for its Capital Markets group. This group's primary functions include managing capital markets and banking relationships and pricing and underwriting all aviation investments.

    This role will primarily focus on the company's financing strategies and manage existing debt facilities

    . This position is a terrific opportunity for a candidate with 3+ years of banking or similar experience to gain exposure to investment management and build on your capital markets expertise. You will also gain exposure to aviation investments, private equity, private credit, corporate finance, entrepreneurship, and global capital markets.


    Job Functions:

    • Assist in the structuring and execution of debt financing transactions including Warehouse Facilities, Term Loans,
    Bilateral Loans, Asset-Backed Securitizations (ABS), and other capital markets offerings.

    • Manage daytoday operations of existing financing facilities, including processing waivers and analyzing covenants / performance.
    • Manage and develop banking and capital markets relationships including regular outreach to monitor and identify market trends and opportunities.
    • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate financing alternatives, assess capital markets conditions, and optimize funding strategies.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and technical teams to facilitate transaction execution and aircraft closings.
    • Monitor capital markets trends, credit trends, and investor sentiment to identify opportunities and risks impacting the company's financing strategy.
    • Prepare investor presentations and other marketing materials to support fundraising efforts and investor communications.
    • Assist in the management of investor relations activities, including responding to investor inquiries, preparing quarterly updates, and organizing investor meetings and conferences.
    • Support miscellaneous corporate finance and research initiatives including market studies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field required .
    CFA candidate or Charterholder is a plus.
    -3-5 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, corporate finance, or aircraft leasing, with exposure to debt financing and structured finance transactions preferred .

    • Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills are essential.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is essential.
    • Experience with interest rate and currency hedging.
    • Experience with legal documentation including Credit Agreements and Offering Memorandums.
    • Capability to manage multiple projects in a systematic manner.
    • Strong interpersonal/communication skills & ability to work as a team.
    • Understanding of transaction due diligence.
    • Ability to travel internationally.
    • Proven selfstarter with a desire to work in aviation.
    • Fluency in other languages is helpful but not required.
