    About The Role

    As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in estimating IBNR reserves and ensuring financial stability. Join a team dedicated to enhancing healthcare services through data-driven insights and strategic planning.

    Remote work available for residents in: Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze data to estimate IBNR reserves across various insurance lines.
    • Develop and maintain actuarial models to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct regular valuations to assess financial impacts on the company's balance sheet.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and methodologies to enhance accuracy.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and compliance in reporting.

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial, Finance, or related field.
    • Successful completion of 4+ exams for the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
    • 5+ years of healthcare actuarial experience.
    • Proficiency in SQL or similar programming language.
    • Demonstrated project management skills in data and financial analysis.

    Preferred Experience

    • ASA designation.
    • 2+ years of healthcare valuation experience.
    • 2+ years of commercial pricing experience.
