    ("MPA" or "Organization")to conduct a search for a Senior Vice President & Associate General Counsel, Content Protection Legal Affairs (Intermediary Programs) ("SVP") .

    Position Overview:

    Reporting directly to the Senior Executive Vice President & Global General Counsel, the Senior Vice President & Associate General Counsel, Content Protection Legal Affairs (Intermediary Programs) will manage MPA's global intermediary outreach program.

    The SVP will oversee (i) the development of content protection strategies to disrupt piracy services' access and use of legitimate intermediaries; (ii) global outreach to intermediaries to obtain assistance in disrupting piracy services, (iii) the development of voluntary initiatives with intermediaries to prevent them from being used by piracy operators, and (iv) the development and implementation of various escalation strategies when initial voluntary initiatives are not successful.

    Experience: 10+ years' experience practicing law at a law firm or corporate legal department, with experience in civil litigation and copyright law.

    Internet law, data protection, and/or privacy experience preferred.

    Location:
    Los Angeles, California, or Washington, DC. This is a national search.

    Travel:
    Extensive travel (both nationally and internationally) is required.

    Compensation:
    $300k + 10% bonus. The package includes base salary, target bonus, and benefits.

    Current admission to practice law in California or Washington, D.C., or ability to obtain admission to practice law in California or Washington, D.C.
