We're looking for an outstanding
VP, Communications and Content to lead Communications and Content strategy for the exciting & fast paced Tik Tok account out of our LA office.


This talent will be responsible for advancing the comms & content strategy for our TikTok efforts, pushing internal & client teams to stretch beyond traditional media plans & deliver breakthrough & innovative solutions that will win the hearts of consumers & attract new users to the fold, & then collaborating with planning & investment counterparts to bring the ideas to fruition.


An imaginative and inspiring creative leader, who is a bit of a polymath, with experience in both comms planning & content strategy.

Applicants must possess a foundational knowledge of media, culture, and platforms, be relentlessly curious about how those three forces evolve and intersect, and understand what's possible for brands when they can triangulate and tap into their collective power.

Day to Day, your role includes:

  • Maintain a deep knowledge of developments in media, culture, and platforms. Communicate relevant insights and updates to internal and external teams in simple, dynamic ways and use that knowledge to inform ideas
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including insights, strategy, creative and media to identify and interrogate territories and insights to get to ideas.
  • Connector between brand objectives & strategies and who/what/how to think about the consumer and how it relates to media strategy in current and future culture, across Paid, Owned & Earned
  • Pitch and sell ideas to internal teams and clients build presentation decks that clearly describe and romance ideas and deliver with captivating presentation skills.
  • Write simple and inspiring partner briefs; collaborate with media and platform partners to communicate ideas and evolve and improve them together.
  • Evaluate proposals from partners and make recommendations together with the planning investment leads
  • Oversee & ensure the seamless execution of ideas by providing feedback and direction, & helping manage partners.
  • Build relationships and trust with clients and agency partners.
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion to ensure our content reflects a wide range of perspectives and experiences.
  • Contribute to agency growth through identifying organic opportunities with clients and participation in new business.

Qualifications Capability Experience/Qualifications**:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 810 years' experience in a strategic/creative role in agency (communications planning/content) or brandside environment; 5 years experience managing people.
  • Proven experience and success in presenting plans to client and influencing top level client decisions related to local media strategy and implementation
  • Excellent leadership, management and motivational skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and quantitative/analytical skills
  • Strong client presentation skills and business writing skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and client relations
  • Detailoriented and proven ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Strong understanding of how and why media and platforms work, from both a human/consumer perspective and in understanding marketplace, data, and technology dynamics.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for understanding people and culture.
  • Critical thinking skills to interrogate briefs and uncover hidden opportunities and insights as fodder for new ideas.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communications skills. Must be excellent at composing presentation decks, a captivating presenter and skilled longform writer with the ability to artfully simplify complex concepts. Capability with visual design tools (e.g. Photoshop) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Highly collaborative and egoless. Able to work with talent of all levels across content, media, and crossagency teams and accept that the seeds of great ideas can come from anywhere.
