    Project Development Manager | Solar | Los Angeles, USA (Remote)

    My client is a leading renewable energy company dedicated to promoting sustainable solutions and driving the transition towards a cleaner, greener future.

    With a focus on solar energy, my client is committed to delivering innovative projects that meet the energy needs of communities while reducing environmental impact.

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Development Manager to join their team.

    The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy and possess a strong background in project management/development, with a specific focus on solar energy projects.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead the development of solar energy projects from conception to construction, including site identification, permitting, interconnection, and financial analysis.
    Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and objectives are achieved.
    Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate project viability and identify potential risks and opportunities.
    Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors to ensure project designs meet technical requirements and quality standards.
    Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in project development processes.
    Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.

    Experience Required:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector with a focus on solar energy projects.

    Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
    Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
    Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
