    The successful candidate will function as a technical leader in providing specialized engineering expertise to support site-focused and cross-site program design and manufacturing support activity, including material and process selection, customer and supplier reviews, specification writing, failure investigations, and contract deliverables.

    The successful candidate will also be expected to have an immediate impact as a non-metallics material and process expert, including technical problem solving, project leadership, and supplier audits.


    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree and Aerospace industry experience.
    • Direct experience with at least one of the processes used in electronic box assembly (e.g., soldering, conformal coating, printed board fabrication, printed board assembly, cable and wire harness assembly, box-level assembly).
    • Direct experience with industry, military, and aerospace specifications.
    • Direct experience in auditing systems, processes, and procedures.
    • Direct experience in project leadership and achieving results through use of influence, negotiation, and persuasion.
    • Ability to utilize continuous improvement tools, processes, and methodologies including RCCA.
    • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and with respect to generating reports, charts, graphs, etc.
