    Description

    Job Summary: Provide exceptional customer service in a manufacturing operation, with proficiency in handling inbound & outbound calls, emails, and EDI customer orders. Gather information to complete customer fulfillment requests, data entry, maintain customer files, research and resolve customer problems.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • MS Office proficiency. Most customer and internal communications are done via email in Outlook
    • Accurate data entry and typing skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate and build customer and internal relationships
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

    Responsibilities:

    • Customer Service:
      1. Ensure orders (manual and EDI) are processed with proper pricing and promotions – coordinate with Finance as needed
      2. Review shortage report and production schedule – communicate with customers and coordinate order changes with 3rd party warehouses and the internal Logistics team
      3. Track and manage shipments to customers to ensure on-time delivery
      4. Reply to customer requests promptly, including pricing, specs or POS, shipment tracking, invoice copies, etc.
      5. Coordinate with other departments such as Purchasing and Quality Assurance to complete projects and requests
    • Sales Support:
      1. Complete new item or new customer paperwork as needed
      2. Communicate special pricing schedules to Finance and distributor(s)
    • Other job duties as assigned

    Education/Experience:

    • Associates degree or equivalent experience
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food
    • ERP experience


    Compensation details: 22-30 Hourly Wage
