- MS Office proficiency. Most customer and internal communications are done via email in Outlook
- Accurate data entry and typing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate and build customer and internal relationships
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Customer Service:
- Ensure orders (manual and EDI) are processed with proper pricing and promotions – coordinate with Finance as needed
- Review shortage report and production schedule – communicate with customers and coordinate order changes with 3rd party warehouses and the internal Logistics team
- Track and manage shipments to customers to ensure on-time delivery
- Reply to customer requests promptly, including pricing, specs or POS, shipment tracking, invoice copies, etc.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Purchasing and Quality Assurance to complete projects and requests
- Sales Support:
- Complete new item or new customer paperwork as needed
- Communicate special pricing schedules to Finance and distributor(s)
- Other job duties as assigned
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food
- ERP experience
