- Makes recommendations to Senior Management for improvement of the facilitys plans, procedures and practices in relation to the Human Resources function.
- Contributes to the evaluation and revisions of hospital goals and strategic plans for human resources.
- Collaborates with Recruiting Team, Managers and Directors on recruitment efforts to ensure appropriate staffing in all areas of the facility including screening, interviewing, prompt offers and processing of new hires.
- Facilitates employee communications for monthly new hire orientation including coordinating and scheduling with employees and presenters. Conducts presentations on HR policies and procedures, wellness, and benefit plans.
- Manages all workers compensation claims. Works directly with Managers and Directors on all employee injuries including post-accident investigations and prevention. Conducts safety rounds and implements employee safety programs.
- Leads retention initiatives. Collaborates and strategizes with all Managers and Directors on initiatives to reduce contract labor via net hire and turnover reduction. Develops and implements hospital quarterly recognition, wellness, and retention plan.
