The sales manager is mainly responsible for planning, developing,and growing sales in the whole Unite State market, while maintaining relationships with existing clients. This position reports into Director and is responsible for managing and building up the sales teams for different area in the USA.
Position Description
l Build & Retain Sales
1. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals and targets.
2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
3. Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
l Monitor Sales & Trends Within Market
1. Understands the overall region's tactical and outdoor sport market, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, and how to sell against them
2. Participates in networking opportunities with others in the different region (Store manager, Owner, Purchasing manager, distribution, etc.)
3. Stays up to date on local trends and needs as they arise and creatively thinks through solutions to new challenges
4. Monitors guest reviews through Amazon and feedback from retailers, looks for trends per store, reports to R&D department, and adjust the sales strategy for the team.
l Being the Local Brand Ambassador
1. Build qualitative door distribution respecting each unique brand profile.
2. Act as liaison between customer and Trade Marketing team to execute window campaigns and in-store visibility programs.
l Leadership, Coaching, & Partnership
1. Motivate your team, ensuring the successful development and performance of all team members in the areas of productivity, customer relations, warehousing and distribution of products.
2. Purchasing, pricing, weekly cycle counts, reviewing and disposition of how to control the inventory and damaged and outdated stock.
Qualifications
l Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 3 years of experience in a outdoor sport or tactical equipment sales management role.
l Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
l Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
l Knowledge of the outdoor sport or tactical equipment industry and market trends.
l Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP and CRM software.
l Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
l Able to accept frequent business trips.
l Candidates proficient in Chinese and English will be given priority.
