- Develop relationships with key customers and generate leads for new opportunities.
- Create and execute sales strategies based on customer's supplier strategy, product roadmap, and competitor analyses.
- Own RFQ/RFP response and the commercial relationship upon project award. Provide regular quotation updates and SOW completion.
- Work with cross-functional teams within both customer and Internal teams, including sourcing, technical PM, and product design engineering teams.
- Based upon day-to-day engagement with customers, act as a proactive liaison with our China-based factory personnels and operation team.
- Provide regular project & account status updates to leadership team and drive timely completion of tasks and issue resolution.
- Manage quarterly business review meetings with the customer.
- Manage product transitions to minimize excess and obsolete materials.
- Lead recovery plans and execution when supply falls short of demand.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience and/or 3 years of project management experience.
- BA is required. MBA desired.
- Prior experience in mechanical or electrical component business development.
- Prior experience of working with Asia-based OEM/ODM manufacturers
- Understands Product cost and ability to analyze clean sheets.
- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to lead multiple projects and prioritize when required.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred.
- Availability to travel domestically or internationally when necessary.
- The base pay range for this role is between $111,429.00 to $156,000.00 annually and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
