About the role
:
Important functions for this role is interacting with cross-functional teams and get work out of them. Working with agencies, developing marketing plans and execution. Making sure all the deliverables are on time. Executional pieces will be really important. It will rely on their ability to work closely with the cross functional teams for the deliverables. Experience in that area, ad agencies, cross functional integration experience will be really important. Education is not that important. Really strong background in eBay or collectibles, need to hit the ground running. Ability to pick up and run and go with the executional pieces will be really important.
The collectibles piece would be helpful as the collectibles business will be a little bit intricate to learn if they haven't worked on it before.

They are in a unique position where Meghan is the Marketing lead in the collectibles as a whole, which means that she deals with all of the cross functional partners who are responsible for all the owning the integrated marketing plans.
They would also be working in a much larger squad.Anything that stood out from the previous candidates:
Ability to navigate relationships. Able to not only a deck of work but they certainly have to do a lot more of selling. So the more confident and keen to present their materials is very important.
Meghan will be leading to some degree, removing roadblocks but it would be easier if they know few of the pointers.
Interview process:
Meghan will do an initial screening after reviewing and then Kate will be talking to them. 2 rounds on Zoom for sure.
Doesn't have to be a professional experience on the collectibles. It can be their hobby. Sports trading cars is a huge collectible business. Top category- Sports trading card, MLB, NBA, release drops, CCG (collectible car games), Pokeman cards, some card games.
Some case breaks which is kind of new behaviors or into some kind of lives, some sort of eBay lives or auction lives.
Years of experience:
5-6 yrs will be a sweet spot, anything above 8yrs will not be considered. Need someone with more strategy.
Top 3 must of have skills

should be able to make the deck well. Professional to excel. Brand guidelines.
Brand marketing is 360. So should know how to connect to all the channels. Own the paid marketing pieces.
That would include creative dashboards and media planning and that would be across a variety of different mediums, anything out of home, displays, they would be working on TVs so no sponsor.
Partnerships will be one of things that they would be activating.There will be potential for live events and they might have to travel all around the country. Some main ones like San Diego, Ohio, MN, NY. No International travel.

Key Responsibilities:Campaign Execution:
Lead the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, event support and partnerships, ensuring alignment with strategy, brand guidelines, objectives, and timelines.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure compelling and consistent messaging across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and improvement.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including the business unit, CRM teams, agency partners and product marketing to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts.
Drive cross-functional projects that enhance the overall effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the development of comprehensive marketing strategies that align with overall business goals and brand positioning.
Work closely with the marketing manager to implement strategic initiatives and adapt campaigns based on market trends and consumer insights.
Budget Management:

Qualifications:
